I'm using the latest versions in Sid, i.e. 0.9.70-4 and 4.2.11 (it failed too with 4.2.10). It's a fresh install, I just apt-get install mol-modules-source and untarred it. But I tried removing /usr/src/modules/mol and untarred it again, and it now completes fine...
