kernel 2.6.6 and pmud

hello,

i've just installed the 2.6.6 kernel from unstable and noticed that
pmud is not working. I get:

[EMAIL PROTECTED]:~$ snooze
connect: Connection refused
[EMAIL PROTECTED]:~$

Is this known? Is there a reason for it?
