I don't use any hfs partition, though. 
Try to mount -t hfsplus /dev/hda10 /mountpoint. I am not shure
whether the 2.6.(0|1|2|3) versions are supporting the hfsplus
module? 2.6.(4|5-rc(1|2)) for sure.
