Hello, This is most likely your modem and something unknown. I've a PowerBook G3 and it's the modem and the IrDA controller. I suppose you know where they are located on your machine. In your filesystem they are the /dev/ttyS0 and /dev/ttyS1 devices.
Hope it helps... -- Pierre On Wed, 2004-03-24 at 15:13, Joerg Sommer wrote: > Hi, > > does anyone know what serial interfaces the driver macserial detects and > where they are? > > $ lsmod > Module Size Used by > macserial 44220 0 > serial_core 23392 0 > $ PowerMac Z8530 serial driver version 2.0 > tty00 at 0xd2037020 (irq = 22) is a Z8530 ESCC > tty01 at 0xd203c000 (irq = 23) is a Z8530 ESCC > $ cat /proc/cpuinfo > processor : 0 > cpu : 7455, altivec supported > clock : 798MHz > revision : 3.3 (pvr 8001 0303) > bogomips : 804.37 > machine : PowerBook6,3 > motherboard : PowerBook6,3 MacRISC3 Power Macintosh > detected as : 287 (iBook G4) > pmac flags : 0000000a > L2 cache : 256K unified > memory : 256MB > pmac-generation : NewWorld > > Joerg. > -- > Fuchs' Paradoxon (http://www.bruhaha.de/laws.html): > Wer eine allgemeine Frage beliebigen Themas nach de.alt.arnooo postet und > eine ernsthafte Antwort erwartet, ist dort eigentlich ziemlich ontopic. >
