Don't you like low latency? ;) Ok, I do... but still some apps have problems with the setting LD_PRELOAD=/usr/lib/libaoss.so , e.g. openoffice (which segfaults when this LD_PRELOAD is exported)... but I must admit alsa (with dmix) is now also working better than oss for me :-) Thanks!
