I'm trying to upgrade to a new kernel from 2.4.20-ben10 with 2.4.24-ben1 i get :
/lib/modules/2.4.24-ben1/kernel/drivers/net/gmac.o:unresolved symbol crc32_le_Ra34f1ef5 insmod failed : unresolved symbols in gmac.o depmod failed : unresolved symbols in gmac.o So i cannot get the gmac.o module to load which i believe is the one for the ethernet card in my ibook dual usb. Everything else seems to work but i cannot connect using the "wired" card (wireless works fine). Then, trying another kernel from ppckernel.org after downloading i get : gzip: linux-2.4-ppc-ibook-2.4.24-pre2.tar.gz: unexpected end of file tar: Unexpected EOF in archive tar: Unexpected EOF in archive tar: Error is not recoverable: exiting now Is there a way to get another gmac.o module from somewhere for the 2.4.24-ben1 kernel ?
