Yes, it works but the fan is almost always working. As I said my cpu temperature is around 50 degrees in very idle situation at 765MHz. I've tried to set the limit to 58°C and it seems to work fine too without any crash. BTW why you don't use more granularity? What I'm thinking is to make fan_speed change progressively with the number of degrees exceeded (var*32 from 0 to 7 degrees and 255 over?). Obviously this is only an idea... perhaps there's something that I don't know and this is not a good proposal.
