Running "make-kpkg --revision benh2.6 kernel-image" returns this error: *** 2.6 kernels no longer buildcorrectly with old versions of binutils. *** Please upgrade your binutils to 2.12.1 or newer
I have the following installed: binutils (ld) = 2.15 GCC = 3.3.5 make = 3.80 util-linux = 2.12 Google and the archives haven't turned up anything. Has anyone else had/solved this problem? TIA --John
