Hi, I have no access to my debian partiton since the last macosx-update. I found a thread about this in the online-archive of this list, but nothing there, what could help. the kernels on my linux-partition both won't boot, so i tried several others I found. some have the same behaviour, but the ones that boot, hang, when it comes to mount the root partition (due to the old problem of the not recognized harddisc). so I think I need a kernel with this ata100 option enabled, and cpufreq disabled, right? is such a thing out there? (building my own kernel isn't possible, because this pb is my only ppc-machine)
when answering, please cc me, because I don't read this list with my subscribed account, due to limited internet-access. d.s.e ______________________________________________________________________________ WEB.DE FreeMail wird 5 Jahre jung!
