If I recall a posting on another list correctly, you don't have X up and running, right? That's why i don't know how to map F12 for an eject key.(If you have X, and *if* you've a relatively fresh Gnome 2.4, you simply choose "Desktop Preferences" --> "Multimedia Keys": The tool chosen by this is called "acme-properties", IIUC. Or does someone out there know how to map the eject key for console?
