Hi Michel, I tried your debs and the drm-trunk. When I install the modules with dpkg -i I get: depmod: *** Unresolved symbols in /lib/modules/2.4.23[...]/char/drm/mga.o depmod: *** Unresolved symbols in /lib/modules/2.4.23[...]/char/drm/r128.o depmod: *** Unresolved symbols in /lib/modules/2.4.23[...]/char/drm/radeon.o depmod: *** Unresolved symbols in /lib/modules/2.4.23[...]/char/drm/sis.o When starting X the log tells me that it searches for modules in /usr/X11R6 lib/modules-dri-trunk. It complains about not finding the fbdev-driver. It is not in the generated modules-deb. FYI: I use the pre5-ben0 kernel. What parts of the kernel need to be compiled as modules? -- Peer
