Maybe it's due to the fact gcc is not as optimized on ppc as it is on x86. Or, your ibook may not run at full speed ? I remember something like having to deal with cpufreq - can't be sure, as I don't have received my new iBook yet ;-) -- Colin Ne disez pas disez, mais disez dites
