There are no free drivers and there never will be (at least for 3D). But i guess this was not the reason behind Apple's choice. The Radeon 9600 Mobility must simply have been better value to them, and it is a generation newer than the 440 Go. That said, there are no 3D Drivers for the 9600 yet too, so ... Friendly, Sven Luther
