Thanks Ben It took a bit of detective work but when I found the page: http://penguinppc.org/~benh/ your instructions on building the tree are pretty clear ;) As a result I ran out of space in /usr (down to 19Mb out of 1.5Gb) but I've since run deborphan and released 167Mb in total. So on to actually recompiling the kernel, I shall plough through the documentation to find out how but if I get stuck, I hope you won't mind me coming back for help :) Regards Clive
