I know. And it happens to work for me with that kernel. Maybe he built his
own kernel...
Funny that I get the very same messages on the console as the OP with your
kernel (indicating that both his TiBook and my Lombard use the same
scancodes for the brightness keys) but my brightness adjustment actually
works fine (not obvious after the first keypress but pretty obvious after
15 of them) while his doesn't. Can only be missing backlight support if
you ask me.
