AFAIK, there is no Debian CD bootable for RS/6000 44P. You must to boot from Network with another image, or from SuSE CD. When I installed it, I use a SuSE kernel located at: http://www.ubiobio.cl/~gpoo/archivos/rs6000/ (2.4.16). After Debian were installed, I compiled a kernel by myself (2.4.18).
