As of XFree86 4.3.0, the XFree86 X server doesn't have any built-in modelines for the display modes used by the 17" PowerBook G4 and more recent 15" PowerBook G4s. (To my knowledge, all other models of Macintosh use standardized modes, and the early 15" PowerBook G4s used a 1152x768 @ 54.8Hz mode which *is* in the XFree86 X server's default list.)
I'd like to improve our XFree86 debconf/dexconfage to support these modes, but as I own only a lowly B&W G3 and a 12" iBook, I don't have the hardware in question. Can some folks please get in touch with the debian-x list with modelines for the bigger PowerBook G4s in the following format? # 1152x768 @ 54.8Hz (Titanium PowerBook) hsync: 44.2kHz ModeLine "1152x768" 64.995 1152 1178 1314 1472 768 771 777 806 +hsync +vsync Thanks very much! -- G.
