Is this one of the round clamshell-style iBooks? I don't think I was able to discern from the DACA mixer-control code I used as a reference how to do it, so I just never took separate channels into account for the DACA mixer-control code when I wrote that stuff. (Frankly, I was so happy to have mixer control at the time, balance control didn't really cross my mind.)
