Funny thing is, this is a sound driver, I have no use for it in my
iBook,
and I fail to see how it's relevant to ppp...
I think that that is just a red herring, as anything that calls depmod
(say, update-modules) generate warning messages for unresolved symbols.
If the module that generates the problem is not used by your system, it
should be harmless (though ugly, of course).
IOW, I think that you can continue to use your system without being
worried.
BTW, does anyone knows of a Location Manager equivalent?
I don't know, but I'm also interested in the answers you get. I think
that you can probably emulate something with packages like laptop-net,
but I don't know which one is the most recommended.
