Hi, I've just tried upgrading from ALSA 0.9.2 to 0.9.4 and make-kpkg fails after a minute or two or compiling.
Here's the error message: In file included from pnp.c:61: /usr/src/modules/alsa-driver/include/linux/isapnp.h:370: warning: `struct isapnp _card_id' declared inside parameter list /usr/src/modules/alsa-driver/include/linux/isapnp.h:370: warning: its scope is o nly this definition or declaration, which is probably not what you want pnp.c: In function `parse_id': pnp.c:121: error: `ISAPNP_ANY_ID' undeclared (first use in this function) pnp.c:121: error: (Each undeclared identifier is reported only once pnp.c:121: error: for each function it appears in.) make[5]: *** [pnp.o] Error 1 make[5]: Leaving directory `/usr/src/modules/alsa-driver/support/pnp' make[4]: *** [_modsubdir_pnp] Error 2 make[4]: Leaving directory `/usr/src/modules/alsa-driver/support' make[3]: *** [compile] Error 1 make[3]: Leaving directory `/usr/src/modules/alsa-driver' make[2]: *** [build-stamp] Error 2 make[2]: Leaving directory `/usr/src/modules/alsa-driver' make[1]: *** [kdist] Error 2 make[1]: Leaving directory `/usr/src/modules/alsa-driver' Module /usr/src/modules/alsa-driver failed. Is it known to be currently broken on PPC/2.4.20 ? cheers Joss --
