See the enclosed file as an example, but configure your own using: dpkg-reconfigure xserver-xfree86 Also, make sure that you at least have x-window-core and a few xfonts installed. Note that unless you have a Pro keyboard, the Alt key won't do what you expect and the two command keys will also do funny things. The narrow keyboard that came with the 233, 266 and 333MHz early iMac does not appear to be correctly supported in X, for some reason, but it is perfectly well supported on the consoles; load the maps called "mac-usb" (here I am using this /usr/share/keymaps/i386/qwerty/mac-usb-fi-latin1.kmap.gz map). -- Martin-Éric Racine http://www.pp.fishpool.fi/~q-funk/
