If you know your way around to fix it, yes. Otherwise, definitely no .-) You can always do what I do: run basically stable, upgrdaed as required to unstable packages. The firt you install pulls libc and some other stuff, from then on it's mostly the package you upgrade plus its dependencies that gets pulled from unstable. Has worked quite well for me on my 4 Debian boxes. Keep an eye on security updates, though, as they are not always available right away for unstable.
