Hi there.
Uphill all the way -
Now got the Powermac working, but I have
problems getting X-server up and running.
I had same kind of problem some time ago during an
installation on an i386. At that time it was enough to make the memory of the
graficcard (sorry) available in the XF86Config-4 file.
Debian wanted to know the bus-address for the card
during setup. Something in this form
PCI: nn : nn : nn
Anybody who knows the numbers. www.apple.com don't !
On boot I get interesting messages
like:
No screens found. Fatal server error (send the
marines)
But for the request. If you have a powermac
6400/200 which is running x-server in a stunning fasion without
quirks
I would like to have a copy of the XF86Config-4
file.
Found at /etc/X11/
What a day
Greetings
Bjarne
