If that is your actual append entry in yaboot.conf, it is not correct. It should be: append="hdb=ide-scsi" plus whatever other options you might need in the quotes. In my iBook, I have: append="video=atyfb keyboard_sends_linux_keycodes=1 hdb=ide-scsi"
