Hi, i am having a problem with SFTP connections maxing out at about 50kb/sec on average. the same machine is able to do about 900kb/sec using standard ftp.
after testing on another, much more powerful machine, i found that SFTP transfer speeds for both machines were almost exactly equal. does the encryption really slow it down that much? and that consistantly? note: the two machines are an 8100/100 and an 8500/250 (604e) does anyone have any ideas? thanks dylan
