Hi. Recently I updated to Sid (could not wait so long for the glibc to get to sarge) and after the upgrade my iBook2.2 does not wake up after going to sleep.
Opening the lid just makes the pulsating light to switch off, but nothing else happens. My hardware description can be found from www.hispalinux.es/~data/ibook/ but for the impatient, is a Radeon M6: 00:10.0 VGA compatible controller: ATI Technologies Inc Radeon Mobility M6 LY (prog-if 00 [VGA]) Packages installed: XFree86 Version 4.2.99.2 (DRI trunk) / X Window System [drm] AGP 0.99 on Apple UniNorth @ 0x00000000 16MB [drm] Initialized radeon 1.7.0 20020828 on minor 0 ii xserver-common 4.2.1-6 files and utilities ii xserver-xfree86 4.2.1-6 the XFree86 X server ii xserver-xfree86-dri-trunk 2002.12.05-4 The DRI CVS trunk I pull packages from: deb http://people.debian.org/~daenzer/dri-trunk/ ./ deb-src http://people.debian.org/~daenzer/dri-trunk/ ./ and the regular Sid sources. The kernel was pulled from penguinppc and compiled yesterday: Linux boo 2.4.20-ben7 #36 Wed Mar 5 19:49:54 EET 2003 ppc unknown unknown GNU/Linux Using 2.4.20-ben5 and Sarge with the mentioned sources worked ok.
