I've been meaning to ask the list this for a month or so now, but a while ago after an apt-get dist-upgrade on my Pismo running testing, it no longer sleeps in X. Or rather, it sleeps, but when it wakes up the screen comes back but it won't accept any input except turning off or rebooting.
