Dunno about links. Generally the setup is like this:
AppleVolumes.default file: /path_to_shared_dir "Mac Name" [allow:user1,@group] [rwlist:user1] ... afpd.conf Servername -tcp -ddp -uamlist [list of uams] atalkd.conf leave empty - it will write its own config line netatalk.conf this isn't referenced by the testing init script - see the one in /etc/defaults papd.conf uses printcap-style entries for LPR ONLY (you need to use a pipe to other printing programs like lprng). Generally it isn't a good idea to leave the default setting of '~' in the AppleVolumes.default file as you will find all your user's home directories littered with Apple Resource Fork files. Hope this helps.
