        Well, both ends of the ssh suite have to allow X Forwarding.
        For the client, it seems to be working ok, since you can
        forward from your Mandrake box (you can use the -X command
        line option).

        But the server has to allow forwarding connections also. You
        can see how it is configured seeing /etc/ssh/sshd_config
        (assuming the Solaris box is running OpenSSH).
