Eject CD

Looking through these lists I noted that one has to install the eject
package in order to open the CDRom drive door.  Well, I have it
installed and regardless I can't open it.

Here't the response:

eject /dev/cdrom
eject: unable to find or open device for: '/dev/cdrom'

or

eject /cdrom
eject: unable to open '/dev/cdrom'
