Maybe. Assuming this is about an iBook with a Radeon chip (what model
exactly?), are you running radeonfb (/proc/fb) in console and X with
Option "UseFBDev"?
I'm using UseFBDev but I was using an ati driver... I've even forgotten
what graphics card I have! What graphics card would an iBook purchased
in August use? What do you mean by running radeonbf? is it a kernel
option I have to pass?
Thanks for all the help... X boots up now.

please help
me fix this. (is the solution editing XF86Config-4?)
