Still struggling with getting the scsi-emulation working in order to use the cd-burner on my iBook2 14".
I've compiled scsi emulation into my kernel version: 2.4.20-rc1-ben0. I've added an ide-scsi file in /etc/modutils containing the line: alias scsi_hostadapter ide-scsi and run update-modules. I assume because I've compiled scsi emulation into the kernel that this isn't actually necessary. As mentioned in a previous thread on this topic, it's likely that the ide driver may have claimed the drive before ide-scsi. Can someone more knowledgable then me confirm this from my kernel output. It appears to me that this is the case. So how to I fix this?
