from the bug report: that have been written, instead of telling NewWorld PowerMac users that their PS/2 keyboards are flaky. a. oldworld AND newworld boxen have the problem; b. PS/2 kbds aren't used on macs c. i personally still get it - and the stickiness issue for input seem to occur only in the keyboard not the mouse. tho in pre-x macos, i would rarely get it - but concerning the mouse, and would vary in different os versions, in some, the sticky scrollbar button would be minor, and some others severe - as in frequency. in linux, the issue seems to be only the keyboard. i personally have never seen it in console. convincing herbert? argh, i don't know even know him - i'd be willing to bug him, cuz this affects a great many people, _every_single_day_. how about this? herbert, could you fix this, a lot of people will be extremely grateful if you did. > > -- > Earthling Michel Dänzer (MrCooper)/ Debian GNU/Linux (powerpc) developer > XFree86 and DRI project member / CS student, Free Software enthusiast > > On Mon, Oct 28, 2002 at 01:01:43PM +0100, Michel D?nzer wrote: > > > > I doubt that very much as it happens with all kinds of keyboards on Macs > > but doesn't happen in Mac OS. > > Well as I said earlier, it's not difficult to convince me. > > For ADB keyboards, you just have to enable dump_adb_input in > macintosh/adb.c and recompile your kernel.
