you do something wrong. Let me guess, you are mainly using x86-PC's, right? On an PPC machine you need not use "make bzImage". Exactly this was one of my first problems on my Apple :) Just do an "make all" and the kernel will be created as "vmlinux" in the kernel directory. or just do all in a batch like this: make oldconfig && make dep && make clean && make all && make modules && make modules_install Bye, Claas
