It's not clear to me what it means to say that you get sound in X. Are you running a desktop environment like KDE or GNOME? > mp3blaster: "error while loading shared libraries: libvorbisfile.so.0: > cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory" This means that the mp3blaster executable is defective -- it is looking for a library which isn't installed on your system. > Maybe something made wrong while compiling or installing/unstallling > something without apt. You should be very careful when installing packages without the help from apt. It usually knows better than the user. Also, *never* force a package to install without one of its dependencies, unless you really know what you're doing. > Can anyone help me??? > Will I have to install Debian again to solve this??? It's usually not necessary to reinstall Linux if you have problems. You can often solve the problems without a reinstall. It may not be practical, but it is an excellent learning exercise.
