Hello, I'm from Germany, so my English won't be the best but I hope you'll understand my concern.
I'm thinking about buying an ATI Radeon 8500 (PC-model), flash it with a Mac-ROM in order to use it in my G4/400/GBitEthernet. But I would like to use Debian, too. But does Debian (3.0) work with a flashed Radeon 8500? Or are there still a lot of problems to get this thing working? And what about Java on Debian? Are there problems with der JRE or JDK?
