I don't have iCal on my iBook (don't have Jaguar), but I
configured my desktop (which runs Debian on x86) with apache
and libapache-mod-dav and the iBook can use the server as a
webdisk.
It works well. I'm using testing. The only "problem" that I
see is that MacOS X puts a lot of extra files on the webdisk
(for storing metadata) and you have to be careful if you plan
on using webdav as a backup method.
I'd guess that iCal would work with the server, if it can use
any webdav repository (as I've read it does).
