I've got my dmesg attached. I think I used gcc3.1, havn't tried with 3.2. Yet. Yep, it's not bad with speed, I can't really notice much of a diff from gcc2.95 though. However, (from memory), I think I switched to gcc3 to compile the kernel because XFS seemed to work a little crap with 2.95. There was some issue with XFS, can't remember exactly. You're kernel build will take __much__ longer.
