Or just use Ogg Vorbis, which is a non-proprietary encoding format. This means that installing an encoder is as easy as firing up aptitude and installing 'vorbis-tools', or just do: apt-get install vorbis-tools -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
