Daniel, Dmasound doesn't have functional sound input. However the current alsa cvs (not 0.9.0rc1 but the next release that comes out) should have working sound input on at least some machines. I am using it here on my G4 sawtooth and it works fine for sound recording under both the alsa interface and oss compatibility mode. Note you will need to make your alsa-drivers, alsa-libs and alsa-utils from alsa cvs. So unless you may want to wait for the next alsa release (rc2?) and use the official debian sid packages. Jack
