After this i tried to make a reinstallation of 'potato' The reinstallations ended with 3 possibilities: 1. Install to boot from HD 2. Boot from Floppy 3. reboot I chosed 3 cause 1. does not work. 2. needs a boot floppy that ( all i found in the manual has to be written by rawrite ( a MSDos tool was all i found, and I still haven't any clue how to boot a beige Mac from a floppy. ) 3. works AFAIK for me cause i want to use BOOTX But rebooting jumps to a install script that runs 'passwd root' in an endless loop. What the hell is wrong ? I installed Suse Linux i86 on more than 4 different PCs (2 Laptops). I installed muLINUX on two different PCs (Laptops) I installed AIX on different PowerPCs I installed BSD on two different Amigas I insatalled Suse Linux PPC on my beige Mac But this ðæmmeð Debian Linux is driving me insane !
