Folks, after lurking for a while I wonder what is
the
status of XFree86 support for the PowerMAC G4 ADC
connector.
(VGA output is working for me)
System: G4 PowerMAC with Nvidia GEForce2/MX with
VGA and ADC connectors.
Debian: Using testing (== Woody?) +
2.4.18-newpmac
XFree86: 4.2 (self-compiled) using nv
driver
[Funny story: make World compiled everything but
nv_drv.o; I had to manually
go into the nv directory to compile it. Haven't
looked into this prob yet.]
Text console works on ADC (and VGA if I remove the
ADC monitor)
XFree86 works on VGA (with or without ADC monitor).
With two monitors
I get the strange phenom of text consoles on ADC
and XFree86 on VGA!
I can't seem to get XFree86 to output to the
ADC. Is this still a "known" problem
because of Apple proprietary stuff or is there a
magic incantation to get
X output on the ADC monitor?
Cheers!
Richard
