My experience is pretty much the same. linux works fine if RTC is set to UTC (verifiable), and is pretty much off (up to 8 hours instead of my current UTC-diff of 5 hours) if used in mac os x 'mode'. mac os x time, however, is off by 5 hours from utc if the iBook is used in linux 'mode'. Then, the big question is: How do I set mac os x to assume UTC in the RTC (set the pram to UTC timezone?)? Ben?
