The kernel from nubus-pmac.sf.net is NOT an MkLinux kernel. MkLinux is a Linux kernel running as a server on top of Mach, and the kernel at nubus-pmac is a true native kernel port. I have 3 systems (PowerMac 6100s) with the nubus-pmac kernel running on them, and their floppy drives work fine. The kernel is known to support the SWIM3 floppy controller on those systems (also used in several others). Does 'fd' show up under 'Block devices:' in /proc/devices?
