I am trying to compile a 2.4.17 from a woody release on my Powercenter 120, soon to be upgraded to a G3/500, without much success. I'm writing this from work and do not have the exact errors but suffice to say that the error message has to do with depmod.
I will try to send another message with more information then this but I just wanted to know if others have encountered some of these problems. Having encountered errors with binutils in woody I changed it to the potato one (as I have done in the i386 release) but still encountered the errors.
