hi, ive been trying to share a single profile between mozillas running on macOS9 + debian. the motivaiton issimple enough, to be able to have access to the same email, bookmarks + so on, on both the mac, and debian side of the divide.
so far, no luck. i have the profile accessable to mozilla 0.9.8 (sid) symlinked to a foilder on a hfs partition. on the mac side (using the same veriosn of moz) things get messy. ive tried making aliases, new profiles, edit the Application Registry (cryptic guesswork) and other chicken waving,.. .. nothing. im not even sure it is possible, but defiantely seems like it should be! any suggestions?? thanks, nik ][] [ http://f0.am ] [foundation of applied mysticism [] ] ]
