lpq - "localhost ip unknow"

I just installed woody on a iBook and was playing with printcap to send job 
to a print server.

lpq/lpr complains that Get_Local_name(?) could not find localhost IP.
ifconfig definitely seems OK.  The ethernet connection is by dhcp.
Anybody has idea about this?
