yep, those are pretty close to the ones that worked for me. but my screen is still kind of off-center--maybe i'll try yours. that reminds me--when i get X running on an i386 machine, i usually have to adjust the monitor a little bit manually to get the image to the edges of the screen, centered, etc. but imac monitors, of course, don't have a little control panel like that. macos has a little utility for doing this--does anything like that exist for linux, or would i just have to play with mode lines until they are perfect? ryan
