Hello. I am currently installing Debian on my PowerMac 8500, and I have a problem. I installed quik, and ran 'nvsetenv boot-device `ofpath /dev/sda5`', with sda5 being my root partition. When I then reboot, the computer sounds twice, and then the screen goes black. You can only recover from this by doing Alt-Opt-P-R and restoring the defaults. Does anyone know what I'm doing wrong? Any help would be appreciated.
