I think it was that err-message I had a fortnight ago.
I contacted the maintainer and he recommended upgrading to sid's
gnome-pim, which worked for me at that time.
Yes indeed, after updating gnome-pim to the version in unstable,
gnomecal works. Hopefully this version will trickle down to woody
sooner or later...
